Melissa Riggins grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, before she began her journey out west. Like many of us in the mental health field, she comes from a family where substance use and undiagnosed mental health issues were present. She grew her profession in Colorado, where she lived with her husband for 8 years. In 2023, Melissa and her family moved to Las Vegas, where she ultimately launched her private practice. On this episode of Watching Mental Health, we are going to talk about what she’s seen as a mental health professional in both Colorado and Nevada, and how her practice has evolved to best serve those who struggle with mental health challenges.
