As we enter Heritage Month, we turn our focus on the Khoi and San community. They started off celebration this weekend with a programme they call “cultural reawakening” themed “from Coloured to Khoi”. They go on to say that they would like to restore themselves as a nation from being named coloured to reclaim their Khoi and San ancestry.
