AI is reshaping the legal world, but if we don’t fix equity first, are we just building systems that repeat the same old biases?
In this episode, I sit down with the 177th President of the Law Society of England and Wales and the first person of colour to take on the role.
Stephanie Boyce grew up on a council estate in England, then moved to the US, before moving back to the UK to study law. And since then, Stephanie has become a defining voice in law.
For many lawyers, the profession still feels like a game where the rules are written by someone else. With the doors only opening to those with the right network and background. Add AI into the mix, and the future feels even more uncertain.
This conversation is about what we need to do to keep the profession equitable for all.
