In the realm of fitness, especially when it comes to nutrition, the journey often begins with discipline. Just like in Matthew 5:6 where it is said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled," the same principle can be applied to our approach to health. Initially, it may feel like a chore, a task we have to do to stay healthy - "I gotta do this." However, as we continue on this path, something remarkable happens. Our mindset shifts, and what was once a discipline transforms into a desire - "I wanna do this."
As we progress further, this desire evolves into a deep want, a passion even - "I want to do this." And with this transformation, the things that once held power over us, whether it be unhealthy food choices or sedentary habits, lose their grip. We find ourselves craving the nourishment that fuels our bodies, the activities that invigorate us, and the lifestyle that brings us joy. It is in this shift from discipline to desire to want that we discover true devotion to our health and well-being. So, let us embrace the process, knowing that with each step, we are not just nourishing our bodies but also feeding our souls with the goodness and strength they deserve.
