In this inspiring episode of The Anointed Life, Coach Blanche sits down with English Darby, founder of Flourish Through Faith Ministry, to share a story that proves God can take anyone from uncertainty to unstoppable purpose.

English didn’t grow up in a Christian home. She knew about God, but nothing felt personal — until a friend shared the gospel with her in 2016. That moment changed everything. She gave her life to Jesus, became hungry for truth, and began devouring books, reading Scripture, and surrounding herself with believers.

She discovered that faith is all about trusting a God we cannot see, just like the wind and love: invisible, yet undeniably real. And even in seasons of doubt, she learned that God welcomes our questions. He is not intimidated by our wrestle.

But the journey wasn’t without struggle. English wrestled with the hard question many believers face: “Why do bad things happen to good people?” Yet she chose trust, holding onto Jesus’ words:
“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29

Then came the call. In 2018, God told her to host a luncheon for 100 women. Filled with doubt and insecurity, she hesitated. It took four years before she finally stepped out in obedience — and Flourish Through Faith was born.

Today, her heart beats for women to know this truth:
 We are not alone. We need community, friendship, and Christ-centered sisterhood.
She shares a powerful testimony from a retreat where a woman battling church hurt walked in guarded, believing other women were her competition. But the Holy Spirit ministered to her heart:
“Women are friends, not enemies. We are allies in the Kingdom.”

English shares the prophetic word the Lord gave her for 2025: “Step Out.”
Step out of fear.
Step out of comfort.
Step out into impact.

Blanche reminded listeners that every woman has a role in the Kingdom — unique gifts, talents, and assignments that the enemy tries to shut down through fear. But as 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind.

English also offers practical habits to stay rooted in Jesus:
 • Spend time in your prayer closet
 • Glorify God daily
 • Be honest and raw with the Lord
 • Meditate on Scripture — even a few minutes matters
 • Pray without ceasing
 • Be doers of the Word
 • Stay in small groups
 • Consult the Holy Spirit in all things

 And her beautiful reminder:
 “Stay in the Word and stay in prayer even in the curves — in the season of waiting, the season of pause.”
