Acts 1: 11, 16-17; Galations 5:22-23; Habakkuk 2:4;
In the first chapter of Romans, Paul explains how we are righteous by the Father revealed by the gospel from faith to faith, first for the Jews and then for the Gentiles. The law was difficult to follow, but Jesus came to fulfill it as the sinless Lamb of God, taking our sins upon Himself at the cross.
God understands that we cannot perfectly adhere to the law, so He provided another way for us to return to Him: through Jesus. We are called to live by faith, not by sight, trusting fully in God to help us follow His commands. He hears our prayers. When we are justified by God, we are cleansed and redeemed from our sins. The only sacrifice we could offer for those sins is the sacrifice of Christ.
Today, remember to live by faith, recognizing that each breath is a gift we don't deserve. God loves us so much that He provides us with this breath and the next.
