Deidre’s journey from fear and abandonment to confidence and assurance is a powerful reminder of the transformation we experience as children of God. Once burdened by shame and condemnation, she now lives in the freedom of being fully loved by her Heavenly Father. Romans 8, one of my favorite chapters, beautifully declares that we are no longer bound by fear or shame but are God’s dearly loved children, living with authority and purpose.
