This story is for people who sometimes struggle to see God’s hand in their everyday lives. People who sometimes wonder if their everyday faithfulness makes any difference at all in the grand scheme of things.

In this story, we see a woman named Naomi who’s life seems to go from bad to worse.

What I want us to see, as we spend a few moments in this chapter, is that one of the ways that God mysteriously moves in our lives is by emptying us in order to fill us.
