We all have needs. We often have no idea what they are. All that we know is we are bored and want something to do. Or we are listless and seeking direction. The “need” is often buried under a pile of stuff we “want.”

In today's episode, Matthew will explore the world of needs. What is a need, anyway? Can we get our needs met without control or violence? We will also briefly explore Maslow’s hierarchy of needs to see what we can learn from this idea.

Anger is a struggle that we are all familiar with. It drives us to need to use violence and control to get our way. Anger colors our world so everyone is out to get us.

In this episode, I share my definition of anger. This definition is one that I have created over many years. The idea is for us to better understand the why’s and how’s of anger. To use anger as Aristotle said is “… not within everyone's power and is not easy.”
