From childhood heartbreak—her parents’ divorce, her mother’s near-fatal accident, and the sudden loss of her younger sister—to the devastating grief of losing her mother in 2020, Lesley has walked through the valley of suffering. But in that season of brokenness, she encountered Jesus in a real and life-changing way.

Lesley shares how grief birthed worship, how she found her true identity in Christ, and how clinging to God’s Word—especially Philippians 4:4-7—gave her peace in the middle of spiritual attacks, intrusive thoughts, and fear. Lesley encourages parents to model bold faith, live as doers of the Word, and pray fervently over their children.
