Hey family,
In the Christian calendar, this time of year is called Advent--the time that we prepare our hearts for Christ's birth. The moment when he came from heaven to earth is what we call the Incarnation, and the fact that it happened changes our lives in every way. Please come this Sunday and bring a friend to hear the amazing story.
Service starts at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St., and Kids' Church will be in session as well! --Edwin
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* Children's Christmas party, Sunday, Dec. 18. Please pick a name from the Christmas tree outside the kids' room and bring a gift for one of our young ones.
* Congregational meeting--Sunday, Dec. 11, immediately after service.
* IMPORTANT: Our Christmas service will be the night before, on Christmas Eve. Join us Saturday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5.) Then enjoy Christmas morning with your family.
