Quick Resources:
Show Notes:
It takes a lot to be a mom and a business owner. As Taylor describes her journey from helping a friend out with some extra fabric to recognizing a business opportunity, you can tell she is a passionate person with a heart to serve. East of These sells custom, handmade scrunchies, bandanas, pet bandanas and more, offering a very unique and boutique vibe to their customers. They also partner with Gospel Inc. Ministries, which offers a sewing internship program for women who want to get off the streets. From this program, Taylor was able to employ two of the graduates full-time. Her story is inspiring as she takes us through how she started making scrunchies and selling out of her garage, to working at the church with Gospel Inc. Ministries, to now having an administrative office at Catapult and room to create in the makers space. We really enjoyed chatting with Taylor and most of all, recognizing we're all doing the best we can.
