On today’s episode, Eliakim Hawi joined me on the playground. A fantastic photographer, he is also a highly creative Sales and Marketing Coordinator/ leads generator comfortable managing efforts of multiple staff members to achieve attention-grabbing interest and sales. Experienced organizer with eye for making unique, positive connections while interpreting data. Passionate team player engages target audiences to boost mutually beneficial partnerships and company profits.
Eliakim shared his journey from Kenya to Canada – and his commitment to building a wonderful community.
Here’s what we talked about:
From a 2-year-old growing up in Kenya, Eliakim knew he wanted to be a journalist. He has always wanted to tell stories through photographs.
Although things did not always go the way he thought they would (isn’t this something we can all understand), he has always taken a positive attitude and approach to life. He sees the positive and the possibilities in everything – including having to change his entire life within a 24-hour period when he and his wife moved to Canada.
He met his wife at a conference; talk about a pivotal moment!
His favourite quote is a favourite of mine as well, from the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel when the character Sonny says “Everything will be alright in the end. So, if it's not alright, it is not yet the end." I absolutely love that quote!
Please remember to check out the Gaïa Fodoulian Association and all the amazing things they do.
See you on the playground next time, with another fabulous mystery guest!
