It’s not everyday that we have a designer on the show from outside the continental United States. She’s a native of the Virgin Islands who later moved to Maryland and started her own design firm. Today’s guest, Dennese Guadeloupe Rojas who owns Interiors by Design, joins Nick May on The Chaise Lounge.Dennese obtained a degree in interior design, but went down other paths that eventually led her to start her own design firm. She helped a friend with some interior design and found it is what she needed to be doing.Interiors by Design is a residential interior design firm in Maryland. When I first got into the business you used to be able to order fabrics without a problem because most of those vendors would keep that fabric on their shelves. And now if you needed to order something that’s not a hot seller, you have to wait for it to be made.
