this tiny creature,

"A Winged Plant-hopper"
~
who just landed
on it thinking
it could leap
with ease again,
into the
prehistoric orange
and turquoise skies.
~
Amber was the
end result
though flawed.
A honey jeweled
sarcophagus to
hold this fragile
corpse so perfectly
preserved for over
several million years.
It left a
living hieroglyphic
that describes
the sad collision
of a life
that we'd have
never known if
nature had not
shed a tear
to catch this
ancient grief
