Suspect arrested in killing of 93-year-old Philadelphia man
Philadelphia police arrested 53-year-old Coy Thomas at 22nd Street and Lehigh Avenue and charged him with murder in the death of Lafeyette Dailey, 93, who was found on December 5 inside his North 16th Street home with lacerations to his chest and head and pronounced dead minutes later. Investigators said Dailey’s wallet, keys, and white 2007 Chrysler 300 were missing, the car was later recovered. The case has been reclassified as a homicide, and detectives have not released a motive as they continue reviewing evidence and conducting interviews.
