Chris Ortega's path to becoming a production assistant at ESPN and working on First Take was a long one. But whether he was working for a minor league affiliate in West Virginia or nurturing the next generation of football players at the youth level in his hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia, he never forgot where he came from.
