From professional rugby player to teaching

Jason Tiatia is a former professional sportsman representing New Zealand in rugby. He is a graduate of Otago Polytechnic majoring in Sport Management and holds a Diploma in Tertiary Teaching and Learning from Ara Institute of Canterbury where he is the Samoan Language tutor. 
He is a representative on many advisory groups and BOT and is an advocate for Samoan Language revitalisation amongst those organisations and community groups. 
He is a co-founder of Le Au Fetau a group formed to strengthen the transmission of Samoan Language within families in Christchurch.
