Stacy Dodd walked into my life over ten years ago during one of my darkest seasons — and through a small group he and his wife Stephanie opened their home to, I met my husband Bryan. So when I tell you this episode means something to me, I mean it all the way down.

But this conversation isn't really about me. It's about what God does when someone finally stops running.

Stacy Dodd was a homeless meth addict living in the woods by the time he was 33. He went to prison. He met Jesus in a prison cell. And he walked out under those gates swearing he would never go back.

(He goes back twice a week now. Voluntarily. With a Bible and a sign-in sheet.)

Today Stacy is a certified intervention professional, nonprofit CEO, Mississippi State Representative for Celebrate Recovery Inside, and the author of five books — including his brand new release from Rose & Pearl Publishing, The Fire Inside: How God Turned Rock Bottom Into a Kingdom Assignment.
