What happens when the story you were handed no longer fits?
In this episode, I sit down with Captain Patty Bear... retired Boeing 777 captain, U.S. Air Force aircraft commander, and author... to explore what it really means to navigate life when there is no clear path forward.
Raised in a rigid Old Order Mennonite community where women were taught silence and obedience, Patty had to question inherited narratives and learn to trust her own perception. That act of navigation carried her to the Air Force Academy, command during the Gulf War, and a 30-year airline career — and ultimately into her work teaching clarity and self-leadership.
We talk about:
