Parents’ Night Out
The next Parents’ Night Out is February 17th from 6pm - 10pm at the Church Office. Children enjoy a light meal and supervised fun. Cost is $15.00 for the first child and $10.00 for each additional child. Visit our Children's Ministry Events page to sign up your child(ren).
Men’s Breakfast
The next Men’s Breakfast is February 4th at 8am at the Church Office. Join the LPC men for a time of fellowship.
Women’s Worship & the Word
The next Women’s Worship & the Word is February 13th at 7pm at the Church Office. Join the LPC women for a time of worship and teaching from the Word.
Marriage Conference
Fight Night with Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott will be available by simulcast at the Landing Place Church Office on February 12, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm. Visit the Small Groups table after services on Jan. 27/28 & Feb. 3/4 to register. Space for only 24 couples available. First come first served. The cost is $30/couple and includes a soup dinner.
Elder Affirmations
According to the Bylaws of Landing Place Church prospective Elders' names are given to the members thirty days before affirmation adn dedication for the purpose of prayer and review. We have two prospective Elders nominated by the members this year: Brian Dawson and Aaron Cordova. Our three current Elders will also be reaffirmed: Reid DeWalt, Mark Barcelo and Neal Peterson. If there is concern surrounding the affirmation of a prospective Elder or the re-affirmation of a current Elder, the individual member shall address that prospective Elder according to Matthew 18:15-17. If the concern is not resolved, then the member is to share, in writing, with the existing Elder Council these unresolved concerns about a prospective Elder or current Elder. It becomes the responsibility of the Elder Council to answer these concerns. Please express your concerns in writing, directly to Pastor Greg Moore via letter or email ([email protected]).
