Leana Pelicié is a 17-year-old, originally from Jamaica and now lives in Florida. Leana has always enjoyed the more creative side of things. Art, photography, cooking/baking, and music. In middle school, she had a particularly strenuous time with math.

We interview Leana on the episode, From Tears & Red Marks to A’s & Hundreds! We discuss what math was like before Mr. D and how that affected her. She also shares the advice she would give to other students who are struggling with math and how her experience with math has changed since homeschooling.
