Satire, especially comedic satire, has been used to speak truth about leaders, despots, society, religion, and  everything in between for more than a thousand years. Plato, Erasmus, Swift, Twain, and others have demonstrated that satire is often more effective in cutting through the bullsh*t, than even the sharpest knife.
