Jabbok is where Jacob wrestled with the angel of the Lord, and means "a place of passing over". It is a place to empty yourself and pour yourself out before the Lord. Often we walk in a place of partial surrender, but God calls us to lay everything down before Him - even those secret things that we have tried to hide. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is one of full and glorious surrender.
