From the Arena to Operations: Tatum Rowe’s UW Rodeo Journey

Listen Later

In this episode of The Ramblin’ Rodeo Podcast, we sit down with Tatum Rowe, originally from Wellington, Colorado, now calling Laramie, Wyoming home for the past six years. Tatum has competed in breakaway roping and team roping her entire life and joined the University of Wyoming Rodeo Team in 2020, where she competed for five years while earning her undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Economics, followed by her Master of Business Administration. After finishing her collegiate rodeo career in 2025, Tatum stepped into the role of Director of Operations and Marketing for the UW Rodeo Team, where she now leads fundraising, marketing, and recruiting efforts for the program. She also shares life beyond the arena — getting married in August of 2025 to her husband, whom she met on the UW Rodeo Team, and continuing to compete together in team roping jackpots when they’re not working. This episode dives into balancing competition, education, leadership, and building a future in the rodeo industry. 🎯 This episode series is brought to you by Bullfrog Recruiting Solutions — helping student-athletes, parents, and coaches navigate the college rodeo recruiting process with clarity and confidence. 👉 Learn more at BullfrogRecruitingSolutions.com Find out more, get sponsor info, grab your merch, and so much more at TheRamblin’RodeoPodcast.com This video contains music from Shutterstock, licensed by the Splice video editing app.
