In this episode of Black Power Moves, part of the Ebony Covering Black America Podcast Network, we're speaking to Jackie Iloh, Diversity and Equity Strategist for the talent team at Lyft.
She's an influential inclusion and diversity leader, who provides thought leadership on best practices for creating inclusive and equitable hiring practices and partners with Inclusion & Diversity and Recruiting to create program strategies to grow a diverse and inclusive workforce.
From earning her bachelor's degree at the University of Maryland to going on for a fellowship in counseling psychology at Johns Hopkins University, Jackie has always exemplified educational excellence. This culminated in her receiving a Master's Degree in Education from Harvard University.
She later served for three years in the Peace Corps, as a Program Manager and then became a teacher. She explains how she pivoted from Program Management in Education into a career in corporate DEI and how her skillset made her uniquely qualified for this brand new position at Lyft.
