Born in Cairo, Egypt. Karim Zidan began his career with the mindset to bring out Egypt's potential for greatness in the world of electronic music. After five years on guitar, Zidan made the transition from acoustic strings to the wonders of house music.
The 19 year-old has only been DJing for 3 years. He first bought a Pioneer CDJ set just after his 16th birthday, then grew bored with it and progressed to the wonders of electronic live sets production on Ableton Live.
Juggling between techno and house with a slight twist of electro, Zidan's sets incorporate many complex elements that create his unique sound. As time has gone by, his sets have begun to include minimalistic elements that show the growth and maturity of his selection. Along with his evolving sets, Zidan focused his ever-growing thirst for knowledge and experience to the vast field of music production.
His role models range from big names like the legendary Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, Avicii, Joris Voorn, Sonny Wharton and PleasureKraft to the new and intriguing sounds of underground minimal techno expert Opuswerk, as well as rising talent Ahmed Mancy.
As of 2010, Zidan has started a radio show exclusively on InsomniaFM, where he showcases his mixing skills while providing a melodic journey full of the latest and greatest tunes of the moment. He has also done a guest mix for Proton Radio where he got to his chance to expand to an even bigger audience.

Expect to grow accustomed to the name Zidan and the melodic pure house music that comes along with it...
