Hello and welcome to The Breathing Body Podcast - My name is Flurina and I am your host, and I am so happy that you are here.
Today I welcome my dear friend Isabella Kilian on the podcast and together we weaved a conversation about all the many things we have in common - dance, osteopathy, movement research, spirituality, … - celebrating how we are both on this search for "something more", the very ungraspable and mystical …
This episode is for YOU if you would like to explore how you can say yes to a PROCESS which invites you to arrive in your body and in your truth every given moment.
About Bella:
Isabella Kilian's passion for dance has been a lifelong journey, beginning with ballet during her early years and evolving into a love for Latin American partner dances during her teens. Her dance background laid the foundation for her to study contemporary dance for three years in Munich, where she delved deeper into the art form and discovered a desire to work harmoniously with the body.
Seeking a holistic approach to healing and movement, Isabella pursued studies in osteopathy in the UK. This path not only enriched her understanding of the body's mechanics but also inspired her to develop her movement workshop, SoulContact. This unique workshop has been a highlight at festivals across Europe, attracting participants eager to explore the nuances of movement and connection.
Driven by her insatiable curiosity about the connection between body, mind, and spirit, Isabella embarked on a journey to study the Liberato Method with her mentor, Xandy Liberato. This transformative experience further fueled her passion for exploring body flow, connection, and the profound beauty of listening through the body.
Today, Isabella Kilian is dedicated to creating workshops that empower individuals to embrace their body's natural flow, deepen their connections with themselves and others, and discover the joy of truly listening to their bodies. Through her teachings, she continues to inspire others to explore the interconnectedness of movement, mindfulness, and personal growth.
