Bible Studies quickly lose their sense of discovery. We have recognized that the gift of teaching, like any other gift of the Spirit, is often counterfeited. Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 2:13, "when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
Paul is speaking of teaching that transforms. It does not create celebrities and high-profile personalities. It restores the discovery and personal revelation we deeply long for
