Terry Whalen is an award-winning singer, songwriter, comedian, teacher, and actor who is running for City Council in Miramichi for the May 11 election. He has released seven studio albums and has become a songwriting mentor to aspiring local musicians. In 2025, he made his musical theatre debut as Bill Austin in RiverMade Productions’ staging of Mamma Mia! and is currently nearing the end of his teaching career after nearly thirty years. He joins the podcast today to discuss the arts community, trying new things, what he will bring to City Council, and more.
