The Greg Krino Show

From the streets of Guatemala to Air Force leadership, Command CMSgt Ericka Kelly

Listen Later

Ericka Kelly's life started quite literally at the bottom.  Abandoned as a young girl in her home of Guatemala, she literally walked to the United States where she endured years of domestic abuse and homelessness.  One day she saw a commercial about the Air Force and decided to enlist.  Through shear grit, Ericka rose to the rank of Command Chief Master Sergeant - the highest enlisted rank in the military.

As the 17th Command Chief Master Sergeant for the Air Force Reserve Command and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chief of the Air Force Reserve, Ericka represented the highest level of enlisted leadership.  She served as an adviser to the commander on all matters concerning the health, morale, welfare and effective management of more than 74,000 civilians, active duty/reserve officers and enlisted members at more than 66 locations.  Ericka has also been a law enforcement officer, and she is the Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team.  She is certified to facilitate, speak, train and coach in the areas of leadership development, professional skills, and personal growth.

Ericka has written a book called P.E.R.S.I.S.T.E.N.C.E., which can be purchased on Amazon, and she can be reached at ErickaKellyEnterprises.com.
