$55 MILLION!? Yes, you're reading that right. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported that the Miami Dolphins and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa are expected to begin negotiating a contract extension — and that it is likely to be expensive.
Garafolo suggests that Tagovailoa may campaign for a contract similar to Joe Burrow's after his strong 2023 season. While Miami's season fell apart late in the season, we explain why a contract extension makes sense for both sides.
