A $6 million renovation project funded by a Lehman Brothers (a bank that failed) led to the loss of $77M in assets for John Laine. John's partner disappeared and John lost everything, but he is back and stronger for it. He had even been ready to jump off a rooftop a couple times, but his commitment to make his investors whole has driven him to now, 14 -years later, almost all are paid back.
