Cesena-based company Jingold is aiming to repeat its recent success with branded kiwifruit by introducing Italian consumers to homegrown avocados.

So why has one of the world’s leading kiwifruit brands decided to start selling avocados as well? And how big a market share can it achieve as it looks to carve out its own market share alongside Europe’s traditional suppliers?
