This week Pastor Luke led us into a study on Mary; specifically her song of worship outlined in Luke 1:46-55. In the face of very difficult circumstances (being unwed and pregnant, carrying the savior of the world, being open to public ridicule and ostracism, the dangers of first century pregnancy and childbirth etc) Mary chose to worship and magnify God - focusing on His greatness and His grand plan. She replaced her fear with faith, and her worry with worship and we have the opportunity to do the same; bowing our knees in humility and knowing the joy of Mary as we magnify her son.
