Today I interviewed Josh Hill, a talented DP based in Hollywood. Josh's journey into cinematography started with filming parkour videos and making YouTube content. He eventually ventured into fight previz work and became the second unit DP on a feature film with the guidance of an established gaffer. Josh's interest in lighting grew, and he also gained experience as an aerial camera operator. After working on big features and television shows, he decided to focus on DP work. Currently, he shoots high-end music videos, commercials, and has even shot a feature film.
