Living by Feelings or Faith?
Are you living your Christian life by your feelings, or by faith?
Feelings can be powerful. They can tell us what we want to hear, convince us to follow what seems right, and cause us to make decisions based on what we see and experience. But feelings are not always a reliable foundation. Faith calls us to trust God even when our feelings say otherwise.
In this message, we look at the difference between living according to our feelings and living by faith in God. Sometimes feelings tell me what I want to hear, but faith tells me what God wants me to hear. Feelings can fail Him, but faith pleases Him.
The Christian life cannot be built on how we feel from one day to the next. Our confidence must rest in the promises, Word, and faithfulness of God.
Feelings started it wrong. Faith ended it right.
Our key text is found in Hebrews 11:39–40, reminding us of those who lived by faith and trusted God even when they did not receive the promise in their lifetime. Their example challenges us to stop allowing circumstances and emotions to dictate our walk with God and instead learn to trust Him by faith.
This message is preached by Blake Faircloth, host of Frontline Faith, a Bible-believing and Bible-preaching podcast from an Independent Fundamental Baptist background, standing firmly on the 1611 King James Bible and centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When Your House Is Under Attack
What happens when you make the decision to serve God, and suddenly it seems like everything around you starts coming against you?
In this message from Acts 17:5, we look at what can happen when a home becomes a place where Christ is honored and the work of God is welcomed. Jason opened his home to God's servants, and when opposition came, his house became the target.
Spiritual opposition can come in many forms—fear, division, doubt, discouragement, and disruption. But when your family is facing a battle, the answer isn't to run from God. It's to draw closer to Him, stand on His Word, and continue serving Him.
This message is a reminder that the enemy may fight your home because something right is happening there. Keep praying for your family. Keep standing for truth. Keep your home pointed toward Christ. The attacks may come, but God is still greater than the battle.

The Gospel – Romans Road to Salvation (KJV)Preaching Invitations
Life is full of uncertainties. Every one of us faces trials, burdens, and seasons where tomorrow seems overwhelming. The devil would love nothing more than for us to become consumed with fear about what might happen next. But Jesus gives us a different perspective in Matthew 6:34—don't borrow tomorrow's troubles when God has already given you enough grace for today.
In this message, we walk through Matthew chapter 6 and discover that worry has never solved a single problem, but faith has carried countless believers through impossible circumstances. God reminds us that if He faithfully feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field, how much more will He care for His own children?
This message also challenges us to examine three important questions: Where is your heart? Where is your mind? Where is your soul? During times of tribulation, what fills our heart, occupies our thoughts, and directs our soul will determine how we respond when the storms of life come. Will we focus on the problem, or will we focus on the Problem Solver?
Looking to the example of Paul and Silas in Acts 16, we see two men who chose praise over panic. They didn't know what tomorrow would hold, but they knew the God who held tomorrow. Instead of allowing fear to control them, they prayed, sang praises unto God, and trusted Him completely.
The devil might fight tomorrow—but today is still a day to thank God. Today is a day to trust Him, to praise Him, and to seek first His kingdom, knowing that He is faithful in every season of life.

How Will He Provide?
Have you ever found yourself asking, “Lord, how are You going to provide?”
Whether it’s a financial burden, a family need, a health concern, or an impossible situation, every believer will eventually face a moment when they cannot see how God is going to make a way. Yet throughout Scripture, God has continually proven that His provision is never limited by our circumstances.
In this message from 2 Kings 4:43-44, we are reminded that God specializes in doing the impossible. What seems insufficient in our hands becomes more than enough when it is placed in His. God’s provision isn’t measured by what we have—it’s measured by who He is.
This message encourages believers to trust God before they see the answer, to remain faithful when resources seem scarce, and to remember that God has never failed to provide for His people. His timing is perfect, His promises are true, and His provision is always enough for those who place their faith in Him.
No matter what need you’re facing today, don’t focus on the size of your problem—focus on the greatness of your Provider. The same God who provided then is still providing today.

Who Are You Going To Choose?
Every day we are faced with choices. Some seem small, while others have the power to change the direction of our lives forever. The greatest choice a person will ever make is who they will serve.
In this message from Joshua 24:15, we examine Joshua's challenge to the children of Israel: "choose you this day whom ye will serve." Just as the people of Israel had to make a decision, we must also decide whether we will follow God or pursue the things of this world.
Many people today are choosing the wrong path when they face hardship. Rather than turning to God, they seek comfort in the pleasures of the world, the desires of the flesh, or the pursuit of possessions and success. Yet God's Word reminds us that there is not enough room on the throne room of our heart for two masters. We cannot serve God and the world at the same time.
Through the example of the rich young ruler and the challenge given by Joshua, this message reminds us that every person is presented with two paths—the way of life and the way of death. The world offers temporary satisfaction, but Christ offers eternal life. The question is not whether you will make a choice; the question is what your choice will be.
Will you choose the temporary things of this world, or will you choose the One who gave His life for you on Calvary? As Joshua declared, "but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Second Guessing The Blessing
Have you ever prayed for something, received it, and then started questioning it?
Sometimes we know God has blessed us, yet we still doubt His plan. We ask questions like, "Is this really God's will?""Did God really answer my prayer?" or "Will this blessing last?" While we often think doubt comes before the blessing, many times it arrives after God has already provided the answer.
In this message, we examine the account of Thomas in John chapter 20 and discover the dangers of second guessing what God has already done. Thomas knew who Jesus was, yet he doubted what had already taken place. Many believers find themselves doing the same thing today.
This message challenges us not to discredit the blessing, overlook the blessing, miss out on the blessing, or forget the One who gave the blessing. God's blessings do not always come in the package we expected, but they are blessings nonetheless.
Mary looked directly at Jesus and did not recognize Him. Thomas doubted until he saw. Nine lepers received their healing and walked away, but only one returned to thank the Lord. The question is not whether God is blessing us—the question is whether we recognize it.

Sometimes life feels like it is falling apart. Plans change, pressures increase, prayers seem delayed, and suddenly the pieces do not make sense anymore.
But what if God is allowing certain things to shake because He is placing the pieces exactly where they need to be?
In this message from 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, we look at how believers are called to remain faithful, prayerful, thankful, and sober during difficult seasons of life. Fear says everything is ruined — but faith reminds us that God is still working.
This message encourages believers to trust the process, lean on the Lord, and remember that even pressure and trials can be used by God to mold us into vessels fit for His use. The pieces may feel scattered now, but God knows exactly where they belong.

Beware of the Deceivers
In this message, we are warned about the growing danger of deception and the importance of discernment in the days we are living in. The Bible makes it clear that not everything that sounds right is right, and not everyone who claims truth is truly speaking the truth of God’s Word.
Deceivers often do not appear obviously wrong — they come in a form that seems convincing, appealing, and even spiritual. That is why it is so important for believers to stay grounded in Scripture, test everything they hear, and develop discernment through the Word of God.
This message challenges us to examine what we are listening to, who we are following, and whether what we are hearing lines up with the truth of the Bible. In a world filled with voices, opinions, and false teaching, we must be rooted in God’s Word so that we are not led astray.
Discernment is not optional — it is necessary.

Stand and Wait
In this message, we look at Acts chapter 1 and the command given by Jesus for His disciples to wait on the promise of the Father. In a world that constantly pushes us to move faster, decide quicker, and act without delay, God’s Word reminds us that there are times when we must simply stand still and wait on Him.
Too often, we rush ahead of God without seeking Him in prayer, without listening for His direction, and without trusting His timing. But Scripture teaches us to stand in His way, seek His will, and walk in it. True peace and rest come when we are willing to wait on the Lord and accept His answer — whether it is yes, no, or wait.
This message also reminds us to reflect on the “infallible proofs” of what God has already done in our lives. When we remember His faithfulness, it strengthens our belief and helps us trust Him in the present. Even when we do not understand the season we are in, we are not called to stand and wonder, but to stand and witness.
The disciples did not stop when Jesus left their sight — they continued in one accord, in prayer, and in obedience. In the same way, we are called to remain faithful, stay focused, and trust God until His promises are fulfilled.

Bitter or Better
This episode is a little different from the normal format of Frontline Faith. This message is a pre-recorded sermon from a service at Old Time Baptist, shared during a special week as my family has been blessed with a new baby. I thank the Lord for His goodness and the many blessings He gives.
Even though this message comes from a previous service, its truth is timely and needed. Life brings trials, difficulties, and moments that test our faith. The question is not whether these situations will come, but how we will respond when they do.
Will the hardships of life make you bitter… or will they make you better?
This message encourages believers to examine their response to trials and to allow God to use those moments to strengthen their faith, draw them closer to Him, and shape them into what He would have them to be.
