Showing kindness to another is never JUST showing them kindness, it is ALWAYS also showing YHWH kindness.

It is incredibly easy to be kind to a friend who is kind to you, right? No one really struggles with that. When everything is sunshine and rainbows we do not struggle to offer a kind word or gesture to those we love. But being called to build your character in the way of kindness doe not just mean kindness to those you love and only when it's easy.

It's a call to be kind when you are struggling. When life is beating you up. When you are facing an "enemy". When someone has been unkind to you. That is the true test of a child of YHWH's character. That is what He wants to refine in us.

He provided us with the perfect example to follow, Yeshua. Yeshua was not weak. So kindness is not weakness. Yeshua did not give in to evil. So kindness is not giving in to evil. Yeshua spoke, acted, and carried an attitude of kindness. So that is what we are called to do as well. Yeshua, and kindness, do not have to beat down another in order to stand tall. Its hard work, but isn't every worthy character trait hard?

Remember that often time the easiest way we can show kindness , especially when facing an enemy, is simply to say/do nothing. "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all."

We pray, again this week, that this episode will be a blessing to you. That it will help you in the refining process. That you can continue on His path being sanctified daily to develop into the person He created you to be.
