Over the course of human history we have always had powerful hierarchies that have exploited the common person down the foodchain. But never has the exploitation been so systemic and at a level that is almost evil. Today we have so many industries that are so bad for our mental, physical and planet health, yet they are allowed to exist freely. Without getting into conspiracy theories, the modern systems have created so many frustrations for people in life, that they boil over every so often. We are human after all.
