Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research division provides investment insights and ideas to clients around the world on a 24/7 basis, which requires a highly secure, scalable, and resilient environment. To re-architect its critical research platform to become a cloud-native application, the team developed a hybrid, container-based migration approach using AWS Fargate, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon MSK, and AWS Lambda that is underpinned by a secure sandboxed environment called SkyLab.
