این فصل به پرسشهای اساسی دربارهٔ ماهیت خدا و ارتباط او با انسانها میپردازد. پیامبر توضیح میدهد که فقط یک خدا وجود دارد که با نامهای گوناگون در ادیان مختلف شناخته میشود، و دعا میتواند هم به او و هم به فرشتگان و راهنمایان الهی تقدیم شود. او تأکید میکند که انرژی خدا در قلب همهٔ انسانها حضور دارد و هدف از آفرینش انسان، آموختن درسهایی برای شبیهتر شدن به خداست. در این گفتگو همچنین روشن میشود که تفاوتی میان «الله» و «خدای مسیحیان» وجود ندارد، بلکه تنها یک ذات الهی واحد است. پیامبر اشاره میکند که دعا کانالی برای دریافت کمک و الهام الهی است و بدون آن، راهنمایی کمتر اتفاق میافتد. این فصل بر نقش ایمان، آزاد بودن انتخاب انسانها، و ناتوانی انکارکنندگان در درک حقیقت الهی تمرکز دارد و یادآوری میکند که نشانههای وجود خدا در طبیعت و در معجزهٔ حیات آشکار است
