Video 2.0 at the Financial Times previews behind the scenes and David Dunkley Gyimah's work with the FT as they build upon their existing video online features.
FT.com Editor James Montgomery answers David's quesions about the FT's immediate plans and where video fits in.
International award winning video journalist and trainer David spent a couple of weeks with FT.com staff exchanging ideas and practical training about video journalism.
Says David, the FT creates as well as reports news. By the end of the training, staff felt more confident at turning around reports in a matter of hours. The Bank of England's quarterly report and the rise of the Polish pound were two feature reports that made it online. With existing in-house television skills and video journalism it's clear that the FT could soon be producing a broadcasting slate of compelling feature and news content on par with any broadcaster.
If you liked 8 Days, David concludes, then you'll enjoy the behind the scene doc he's putting together.
