This interview gives an overview of the HAARP system (High Altitude Auroral Research Project.) In the book Angels Don’t Play This HAARP (co-authored with Jeane Manning), Dr. Begich describes the historical development and projected functioning of this weapons system. Envisioned as a “Revolution in Military Affairs,” this Alaska-based installation should serve as a sophisticated reconnaissance device, a missile detection and defense system, a weather modification device, a mechanism for disrupting enemy communications, a device for neutralizing or modifying human brain-wave functions over a narrow or broad geographical area and a device for sickening or killing human beings by using electromagnetic radiation to alter their body chemistry.
