Lloyd has spent his life overcoming adversity. He was born with a terminal illness called Cystic Fibrosis, is blind in one eye and has poor vision in the other. In his youth, he went down a waterslide that ripped his feet off and snapped his femur in half (spoiler alert: they put his leg back on).
