Robert Chavez, CEO of Youth Development Inc. (YDI), is the embodiment of YDI’s generational impact. At just 14, he joined YDI’s youth employment program, and today he leads the entire organization. Now as CEO, he oversees programs in education, employment, training, and behavioral health that empower families and transform communities.

With a distinguished career in both state government, private sector and nonprofit leadership, Chavez is committed to breaking cycles of poverty and creating lasting opportunities for low- and moderate-income communities. His journey reflects YDI’s mission of shaping brighter futures across generations.
