Your cultural affairs radio magazine, produced by members and graduates of the First Voice Apprenticeship Program right here in Huichin, in that part of occupied Ohlone Territory known as Berkeley, California.

Yoni Ki Baat was developed in 2003 by the South Asian Sisters, a non-profit collective of South Asian women based in the San Francisco Bay Area [1].  Since its launch, YKB has been continuously performed across the United States.

In 2003 Full Circle producers invited the South Asian Sisters to the KPFA studio to record. 

Tonight we hear some of the readings as well as an interview with some of the SA Sisters, including Sapna Shahani, one of the co-founders. 

This is a First Voice shout out to women during International Women's Month.
