#008 – In this episode we go behind the desk with Jimmy Morey. Jimmy’s teaches English, Public Speaking, Drama, etc, etc. The guy does a whole lot. Jimmy teaches is another teacher from rural Missouri, just like Mandy from Episode 001 and Angie from Episode 006. Jimmy talks about the sense of loss he felt when his school got sent home and his seniors never got to top off their high school career with the play they had been working so hard on preparing. When we spoke, Jimmy’s school was back to work in person with an option for remote learning. He and his colleagues developed creative solutions for remote learning to serve their students who have yet to return, and to be prepared in case everyone is sent home again.
