Lion Electric is an innovative manufacturer of zero-emission vehicles. The company creates, designs and produces 100% electric urban commercial trucks, electric buses and minibuses for school and public transportation. The company is currently addressing a $100 billion market for medium-duty and heavy-duty urban trucks in North America. The one for school buses is valued at $10 billion.  With this new facility and battery supplies, Lion will have to increase its production capacity. More batteries = more trucks. Lion is expanding to the United States and just took possession of their new facility in Illinois (US) to produce its medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This new facility is expected to be operational in the second half of 2022. Expansion of the “Made in America” clean energy alternatives: Illinois at the forefront of a national movement to transition to zero-emission vehicle use.  Lion's 2024 vision is to produce 20,000 vehicles annually.
