Chapter 1:
-An independent report into widespread money laundering in Metro Vancouver casinos is calling on the establishment of a police unit to be created solely to investigate the legal-gaming industry. The recommendation is just one of 48 put forward in a report from Peter German that was released on Wednesday morning.
Chapter 2:
-Yesterday, former RCMP Deputy Commissioner Peter German delivered a scathing report which detailed the extent to which money laundering has run rampant in BC casinos for more than a decade. He blamed a “collective system failure” which has led to more than $100 million being washed through what he called “laundromats”, or, BC’s casinos.

-A new report by Angus Reid has found Canadians are more likely to blame drivers than cyclists for conflicts on the road. Two thirds of urban Canadians support bike lanes, but far fewer want to see more of them in their cities.
