Chapter 1:

-Lets talk olympics!  Some great stories coming out of Korea for Canadian Athletes.

Chapter 2:

-A possible cap on surge pricing is one of 32 recommendations that have been put forward in a report on ride hailing by an all-party committee in B.C., and they could help to open the doors for services like Lyft and Uber.  The report is now in the hands of the provincial government, which will decide whether to allow ride hailing companies to operate.

Chapter 3:

-Is there a transit deal at hand?  The Province is putting up more money.   The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.

Chapter 4:

-Hot Wheels have been around for a long time and now they are getting the AR treatment.  Tim Dickert has the tech report.

Chapter 5:

-From renovictions, to demovictions to people not being able to afford a home in the city they live,  these topics will be the main focus of a rally this weekend in Vancouver.

Chapter 6:

-According to a new study, processed foods and cancer are linked.  It’s hard to say exactly what chemicals in processed foods are better or worse but the overall research concluded that any processed and packaged foods increase the risk of cancer.

Chapter 7:

-Premier John Horgan is announcing his NDP government will begin construction on a new Pattullo Bridge in the summer of 2019, to be completed by 2023.  The new, four-lane span will be located upstream of the current bridge, will cost more than 1.3-billion dollars, and will be owned, operated, and maintained by the Provincial Government.

-At Lunar New Year celebrations you will often see the beautiful dancing Chinese lion. To learn more about the music, costumes, and history behind this tradition, CKNW's Niki Reitmayer visited the Vancouver Chinese Lion Dance Team in Richmond, BC.
